Children’s Art Club – Natural Printing and Fabric Transfer

Clare Castle Country Park

Malting Lane, Clare, Sudbury CO10 8NW

£15 + £1.50 admin fee
This fun and exciting afternoon will see your child make their own naturally printed bag and a fabric transfer picture to take home. Over three hours your child will let their creative juices flow by choosing their favourite leaves and foliage from the Park, creating a vibrant and unique printing design and seeing the magic happen as their chosen leaves create a spectacular pattern on their one-of-a-kind bag! Whilst the magic is happening and the bag is steaming (to develop the dazzling print) your child will create a picture using fabric transfer crayons. But what is a picture without a frame?! Oil pastels and watercolours will finish off a colourful frame to be displayed with pride! You can drop your child off ready for a 2pm start and collect them again at 5pm after an afternoon of trying new things and learning new skills. This workshop is run by Maggie, a local textile artist and owner of Proche UK. Maggie's workshops are as environmentally neutral as possible with dyes being sourced from ethical suppliers and natural resources being used wherever possible. A fantastic morning which is best suited to children over the age of 8.
