Creating a portrait is about capturing something unique about a person. You might want to enhance a their best feature, create a dramatic effect, or show something about their character and personality. Creating a portrait is not easy, but there are some things that you can consider to make the process fun, creative and enjoyable. In this class you will get the chance to try some creative lighting set-ups, learn to guide your model using some fun techniques and experience being guided by the photographer. You will go away with the tools and knowledge that you need to create meaningful portraits of your friends and family that you will be proud to share.
  • Maximum: 6 participants
  • What to Bring: DSLR camera, camera flash, fully charged batteries, clear memory card, camera manual, flash manual and a packed lunch.
  • Optional: A laptop for downloading and reviewing your photos.
  • What to wear: Comfortable clothing, warm waterproof jacket and sensible footwear.
