Celebrating 25 years of the Stour Valley Path, Dedham Vale AONB. A guided walk will launch the Stour Valley Passport, a self-guided exploration of the 60-mile route. On the walk you can enjoy spectacular views and see the awesome Devil’s Dyke, a massive earthwork of early Anglo-Saxon origin, now home to chalk-loving wild flowers and butterflies, and search for the source of the River Stour. This walks is from Newmarket to Great Bradley and is linked to Stour Valley Path 2 – Lower Stour, when we celebrate with those who complete their Passport in 18 days. Full details, a Passport, Stour Valley Path Guide, transport and a donation to the Stour Valley Environment Fund is included in the price. Distance 9.5 miles, allow 4 hours.
